The motion : Mass Media Breaks Bahasa Indonesia Value

Mass media is the media that deliver data or information either visual and audio to people or public. Nowadays there are many mass media that we easily to find, like ; TV, magazine, newspaper, and internet. All these media can deliver any message that they want. Mostly they’re income from the viewer, readers and ads.
How they could break Bahasa Indonesia value?
Mass media concern is the efficiency of delivering the message.  So they will use people daily language than use the proper language that sometimes it’s hard to understand for example “lebay”. Lebay is one of Indonesian daily languages which means melebih – lebihkan or overact. This word is often to use in a comedy’s program of TV. There are also some word that not proper and use often in TV. In other case magazine is same with TV especially for a specified magazine like teenage magazine. It also use the teenage daily language which more attractive to them than the proper language.
Even our daily languages are not come from mass media but it wider and oftener to use than before. Maybe is not seems too bad like something disaster but if this happen frequently people will prefer to use that than the proper language. So mass media affect our daily language.
But is not only about breaks the value, it also lose our culture. Bahasa Indonesia is one of Indonesia culture. For instance, people will prefer use word download than unduh; Upload than unggah; smartphone than telepon pintar. It seems like we losing our culture. Our language was made to strength our culture. It’s also to show the identity that we are Indonesian
Solution
In this conversation the solution are direct to our government. The government should authorize mass media to use the proper language on their media. If the proper language become the common language people will easily to understand and the message delivering issue is fixed.
But is not for the government, we as the users of language should prefer use the proper language that listed in KBBI. Than it will increase our culture and show that we are real Indonesian
