Acquainted With The Night by Robert Frost Analysis Part 4

In this part, i will describe the analysis of rhyme. so here we go....

E. Rhyme

Rhyme is the similar sound of words in line of poetry. for the example like the end of the lines, but rhyme is not only in the end of lines which name is Tail rhyme. There's also rhyme within words of line which called Internal rhyme. Now i will show the Tail rhyme first.

I have been one acquainted with the night.   ----> A
I have walked out in rain - and back in rain.   ----> B
I have outwalked the furthest city light.   ----> A

I have looked down the saddest city lane.   ----> A
I have passed by the watchman on his beat   ----> B
And dropped my eyes, unwilling to explain.   ----> A

I have stood still and stopped the sound of feet   ----> A
When far away an interrupted cry   ----> B
Came over houses from another street,   ----> A

But not to call me back or say good-bye;    ----> A
And further still at an unearthly height,   ----> B
One luminary clock against the sky   ----> A

Proclaimed the time was neither wrong nor right.   ----> A
I have been one acquainted with the night.   ----> A

That's the Tail rhyme of this poem and next is for the internal rhyme.
Because all of the final syllables are accented (see part 3) so its called Masculine rhyme
